The movie Khares Neist (فیلم سینمایی خرس نیست) is an Iranian drama film directed, produced and written by Jafar Panahi from 2022. In this film, which was filmed secretly in Iran, Panahi, Nasser Hashemi, Vahid Mobasri, Bakhtiar Panjeei and Mina Kavani play roles among others. The production of the film was completed in May 2022 and its worldwide distribution rights were secured by the French company Celluloid Dreams. Kers nist was first screened on September 9, 2022 at the 79th Venice International Film Festival in the main competition of the Golden Lion and won the special prize of the jury of this festival. This film received positive reviews from critics due to its originality, themes and direction.
